Hi all! I believe I’m finally over that cold!! Now just dealing with the sinus issues that come from the weather changing so much in the Midwest.
So I’m thinking about becoming vegetarian. I’d go vegan, but not sure about giving up dairy. Couple reasons for the possible diet change… health for one, animal cruelty for another. I’ve been watching documentaries on Netflix about the food industry and about the health benefits of going on a plant-based diet. I know, I know, they’re all slanted/bias. Still doing research, but vegetarian seems the way to go. I gave up meat when I was a teenager and lost a bunch of my hair because I wasn’t getting enough protein. Now I know smarter choices. Vegetarianism can’t hurt, right??
I lost 9 pounds in January! Great start for the year! I know a bunch of it was water weight, but I’m still happy with my results. All I’ve been doing is sticking to my calorie budget and logging all my food on myfitnesspal.com. Now I need to get into a workout routine. I’m thinking about training for 5k’s again.
So, since I last checked in I turned 34! My birthday was kinda blah, but I guess that happens as we get older.
Alright, I should get back to work! More on the veggie-ness later 🙂
